Catalytic ozonation of phenol by magnetic Mn<sub>0.7</sub>Ce<sub>0.3</sub>O<sub>x</sub>/CNT@Fe<sub>3</sub>C

Abstract A high-efficient and stable catalyst is highly desired to catalyze ozone for refractory organic pollutants removal. In this work, Mn-Ce bimetallic oxide loaded CNT@Fe 3 C (Mn 0.7 Ce 0.3 O x /CNT@Fe C) was synthesized with Mn as the active component magnetic support. The catalytic performance of towards ozonation evaluated. TOC removal efficiency phenol degradation after 45 min reaction 98%, which 1.5 times 1.8 that monometallic CeO 2 (65%) y (54%), respectively. synthesized-Mn possessed good reusability during five successive cycles remained efficient over a wide range pH 4.2–8.3. results EPR measurements quenching experiments demonstrated hydroxyl radicals (·OH) were dominant reactive oxidation species (ROS) mineralization in C/O system. Moreover, easily recovered reused.
